Jenny Chung joined the CCF five years ago and has been working as Executive Director and Fund Manager for almost two years. She says it’s an immensely rewarding role because she gets to see first-hand how the Fund support the community through providing funding for the construction of affordable housing, new schools, childcare
centres, counselling facilities for CatholicCare or just being able to serve the community and support the mission of the Diocese.
Michelle Forbes joined the Catholic Community Fund in early 2023. Before joining the team, she worked primarily in large commercial enterprises and saw joining the Diocese as an opportunity to use her skill set more to the benefit of her community. Michelle has a young family that attend schools within the Diocese, and she is proud to see that the mission of the CCF and her role provides support for the construction of schools, childcare, and affordable housing that assist and provide benefit to families like her own.
Anne Campbell has been working at the CCF for 17 years. Before joining the team, she had a career in banking but decided to move to the CCF to share her skills, help others and assist with the work of the Catholic Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle. Her favourite thing about working at the CCF is collaborating with a dedicated team in a friendly environment and assisting a diverse group of clients.
For Cath McDonell, working at the CCF for the past 22 years has given her the opportunity to share her skills in a meaningful environment. Before joining the CCF, she had a career in banking but felt like she could do more. Her favourite part about the job is helping her colleagues and customers and seeing all the different community projects that were created as a result of the work at the CCF.
Customer Service Officer Kathryn Weekes has been working at the CCF for 30 years. She’s remained part of the team for so long because it helps her have a positive impact on the community, something she is passionate about Kathryn also enjoys staying in contact with their customers and working with an incredible team.
When Dee Follett started working with the Catholic Community Fund in 2023, she brought with her a number of skills around banking and customer service. Dee loves working with people and supports our members with any inquiries they may have as our Customer Service Officer. She loves that she is challenged every day and is part of a supportive and welcoming team. Her favourite part about working at the CCF is knowing that what the fund does supports the Diocese.
CDPF Limited, a company established by the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference, has indemnified the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle Catholic Development Fund for the Catholic Community Fund ABN 59 728 447 508 (Fund) against any liability arising out of a claim by investors in the Fund. In practice, this means your investment is backed by the assets of the Maitland-Newcastle Diocese. Money invested with the Fund is used to support the charitable works of the Catholic Church. This is achieved by providing a return on your investment that enables us to provide low-cost funding to assist Catholic organisations, including Catholic schools.

The Fund is not regulated by the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) nor has it been examined or approved by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) because we have been granted exemptions.
