Over the last ten years alone, the CCF are proud to have given back over $50m to support the charitable works of the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle and its agencies. As well as providing loan funding to build new schools, St Nicholas Early Education Centres, affordable housing and facilities for CatholicCare. We have also supported parish initiatives and many other wonderful works in our Diocesan community.

Our mission

The Maitland-Newcastle Catholic Community Fund (CCF) exists to provide prudent financial management and to further the pastoral mission of the Catholic Church in the diocese.

By harnessing the financial resources of the Catholic community we are able to provide cost-effective financial arrangements for capital works and other essential pastoral programs.

Acknowledgement of Country

The Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land, sea and water ways on which the Diocese is located – Awabakal, Biripi, Darkinjung, Kamilaroi, Wiradjuri, Worimi, Wonnarua. We commit to the ongoing journey of Reconciliation.
